After praying with my 11 year-old grandson before we started school, with animated bewilderment Bubs asked me, “Why did you pray for me to have a clear mind? I’d be like duuuuuhhhhhhh!” I explained to him that I did not say a blank mind, but a clear mind to be able to retain what he would be learning that day.
